Abstract:
ABSTRACT
Background: Protein S, a vitamin K-dependent plasma protein, increases the rate of inactivation of factor Va by activated protein C (APC) by enhancing the binding of APC to phospholipids and stimulating the inactivation of factor Va. An inherited deficiency in protein S would present as a congenital thrombophilia since protein C deficiency is associated with thrombotic disease, which may lead to fetal losses.
A case control study was applied to evaluate protein S level in ladies with placental complicated pregnancy in Shendi twon. For this study, citrated blood samples were collected from 34 ladies with placental complicated pregnancy, 20 normal pregnant ladies as control and the study conducted during the period from May to August 2018.
Protein S level was determined by acticlot protein S which is a functional clotting assay intended for the quantitive determination of protein S activity in human plasma by using coagulometer.
The data was analyzed by SPSS. And found that there is no deffiency of protein S level in miscarriage, preeclampsia, still birth, pre term labor and age.
Conclusion: no effect of protein S in placental complicated pregnancy.

خلفية: بروتين أس، من البروتينات التي تعتمد علي فيتامين ك ,يقوم بتسريع عملية تنشيط عامل 5الذي يقوم بتفعيل بروتين سي .نقصان بروتيني اس و سي الوراثي يؤدي إلى حدوث أمراض تجلط قد تسبب فقدان الجنين.
أجريت دراسة الحالة الضابطة لتقييم مستوي بروتين س في 34 سيدة حامل و لديها تاريخ بمضاعفات الحمل التي تؤثر علي المشيمة مقارنة بمستوي بروتين س في 20 سيدة ذات حمل طبيعي كحالة ضبط بمدينة شندي. جمعت عينات دم بمضاد تجلط سترات الصوديوم الثلاثي في الفترة من مايو وحتى أغسطس 2018.
تم تحديد مستوي س بمحاليل أكتيكلوت وهي تعمل على مبدأ نقطة تجلط استخدمت لقياس فعالية بروتين س بجهاز لقياس زمن تجلط البلازما.
حللت النتائج باستخدام برنامج التحليل الإحصائي. خلصت الدراسة إلي أن بروتين س لا يتأثر بالإجهاض المتكرر , تسمم الحمل ,موت الطفل أثناء الولادة و الولادة قبل الأوان . وأيضا لا يتأثر بالعمر.
استنتاج: لا يتأثر معدل بروتين أس بالنقصان عند حدوث مضاعفات الحمل التي تؤثر علي المشيمة.
